Check the Engine and Drivetrain ;

Check the power steering and power trim and coolant levels. If you did not change the oil before putting the boat into storage you need to do it now. Change the oil, filter, and other lubricants. It is also a good idea to check the spark plugs and wiring system. Replace components if you see any wear or damage.

Check the Sailboats ;

If you have a sailboat, be sure to check the sail. Check the fabric for any signs of wear or decay. Try out the pulleys and check the masts and rigging for damage. Replace or repair anything you think has excessive wear. Sometimes the cold winter months can reek havoc on your sail. You do not want to be caught out on the open water without functioning sails.
